Otahuhu, South Auckland

Our gracious hosts…

The exhibition, DIASPORADIC679 takes place from 17-25 October in the street-facing windows of six very accommodating businesses / locations in Otahuhu, South Auckland.

The diverse range of venues sell everything from Nike kicks to gold jewelery, XL ladies shoes, saris, butter chicken and cappuccinos! We love the diversity of Otahuhu and the exhibition venues are just a taste of the absolute commercial abundance of this small South Auckland suburb!

Luisa Tora and Sangeeta Singh have been busily researching, writing and photographing the venues for inclusion in the exhibition’s publication. Thank you Luisa and Sangeeta, and a HUGE thank you to the venue hosts – vinaka vakalevu!
